Enrolments for 2026

If you wish to enrol your child at Riverbend Primary School for 2026 you will need to ensure that your residential address is within the school catchment zone.

To check if you live within the zone please:

• Visit this link: https://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au/ 
• Type in your current residential address
• Select the correct school type (Primary, Secondary, Specialist)
• The school that comes up first on the list is your zoned school

2027 Prep Enrolments

The Department of Education has released an updated statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline for the 2027 school year.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Riverbend Primary School .

All government primary schools will follow the timeline in 2026 to support Foundation (Prep) enrolments for the 2027 school year.

You can find information and resources about the timeline, including factsheets and a poster at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep). You can also download the ‘Foundation (Prep) Enrolment Information Pack for Parents and Carers’ from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep) (available from 15 April 2027).

You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2025 at Riverbend Primary School  from 20 April 2026.

What you need to do:

1. Contact our school at  riverbend.ps@education.vic.gov.au to book a school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
2. The Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack (available from 20 April 2026). This pack includes an application form, which you can also request from our school.
3. If you are in our School zone please provide the school with 100 points of ID . Submit completed enrolment form for Foundation (Prep) by Friday 31 July 2026.
4. If you reside outside our zone, please click here to place an enrolment application 
5. You will be notified of the outcome of your application between Monday 3rd August and Friday 7 August 2026. If you receive an enrolment offer, you should contact our school to accept the offer by  22 August 2025.
6. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2026.
7. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep)

Enrolment applications submitted after Friday 31st July will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.
